Printable affirmation stickers put one affirmation where you already look every week. I add mine when I set up a new planner for the year: I flip to each week, grab a random one and stick it in the corner of the notes box. Then when that week comes around, it’s the first thing I see. The free sheet in this post has 52 small stickers, one for every week, plus 8 blanks, sized for Avery 5195 labels or plain sticker paper.

How do I use affirmation stickers in my planner?
For a long time, mine weren’t stickers at all. I googled a list of affirmations, printed it out, cut the list into little slivers of paper and taped one into each week of my planner.
Each week in my planner has an empty notes section along the bottom. It’s about 2 inches tall and 6 inches wide, and I don’t fill the whole box. I put the affirmation in the corner, so there’s still room for notes.
The taped slivers worked, but I wanted something cuter, so I made this sticker sheet. Every sticker is 1-3/4 inches wide and 2/3 of an inch tall, which leaves most of the box free.
Why put affirmations in your planner?
Because it puts the affirmation in your face. When I flip the page to a new week, the first thing I check is what the affirmation is, and it gives me a little boost to start the week. I read it and think, yeah, that’s right, that’s true.
It doesn’t stop there. Every time I glance at my planner to see what’s on each day, the sticker catches my eye again, so I see it over and over during the week without trying.
Without that, it’s easy to overlook affirmations or forget they’re there. A list on my phone or a card in a drawer doesn’t get looked at, and my planner gets looked at every day. I wrote more about how I use affirmations, and why I say them from a calm place and not a desperate one, in Affirmations Work Better When You Stop Chasing.

How do I set up my planner for the year?
I make it a whole thing. Setting up a new planner is a ritual for me, and I love doing it. This is what it usually looks like:
- I get my favorite drink.
- I get out my best pens and fineliner markers.
- I write in the birthdays of everyone I care about.
- I add the important dates and appointments I already know about.
- I jot down my goals.
- I color in it a little.
- I flip through every week and stick an affirmation in the corner of the notes box.
I don’t pick the affirmations on purpose. I grab a random one for each week, so every new week has a little surprise waiting in it. The whole setup is how I set my intention for the year, and the stickers make it more fun than the taped slips of paper did. If you want a bigger picture of how I think about intentions, my post on how to manifest pairs the feeling with an action.
My planner is a Happy Planner in the Classic size, the disc-bound kind, and the stickers are sized to fit the corner of its weekly notes box.
What’s on the free sticker sheet?
One letter-size page holds 60 stickers:
- 52 affirmations, one for every week of the year.
- 8 blank stickers with a line, so you can write your own.
They come in soft gold, blush and sage washes, each with a tiny icon like a sprout, a sun, a moon, a clover or a heart. The first one is my favorite, and the one I come back to the most: “I don’t chase, I attract. What is meant for me will simply find me.” A few others on the sheet are “What’s mine can’t miss me,” “Luck likes me, and I like it back,” and “I did my part. The rest is on its way.”

How do I print affirmation stickers?
You can print the sheet on label sheets or on plain sticker paper. The dashed lines on the page match Avery’s template for 5195 labels, and Avery lists 8195 and several other label numbers as the same template.
| Print on | What you do after printing | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Avery 5195 labels | Peel each sticker off, no cutting | The cleanest edges with the least work |
| Full-sheet sticker paper | Cut along the dashed lines | Using paper you already have |
- Download the PDF and open it.
- In your print settings, choose Actual Size or 100%, not “fit to page,” so the stickers line up with the labels.
- Print one copy on plain paper first, and hold it up against a label sheet to check that it lines up.
- Print on your Avery 5195 labels or on sticker paper.
- Peel or cut, and you’re ready for your planner.
Set up your weekly affirmations
- Download the sticker sheet and print it on labels or sticker paper.
- Get your favorite drink and your best pens.
- Open your planner to the first week of the year.
- Grab a random sticker and put it in a corner of that week’s notes section.
- Flip to the next week and do it again, and use the blanks for affirmations you write yourself.
Frequently asked questions
Where should I put affirmations in my planner?
Put them somewhere you look every day. I put mine in the corner of each week’s notes box, so I see it when I flip to a new week and again every time I check what’s on each day.
Do affirmation stickers work?
For me they give a little boost at the start of every week. The sticker doesn’t do anything on its own. What helps is that I see the affirmation over and over, when I’d otherwise forget it was there.
What size are the affirmation stickers?
Each sticker is 1-3/4 inches wide and 2/3 of an inch tall. That’s the size of an Avery 5195 return address label, and 60 of them fit on one letter-size sheet.
Can I print the stickers on regular sticker paper?
Yes. Print the sheet at Actual Size on full-sheet sticker paper and cut along the dashed lines. Label sheets save you the cutting.
Will the stickers fit a Happy Planner?
They fit the corner of the weekly notes box in my Happy Planner Classic, which is about 2 inches tall and 6 inches wide. In a smaller planner, measure your notes space first, since each sticker is 1-3/4 inches wide.
Can I write my own affirmations on the stickers?
Yes. The last 8 stickers on the sheet are blank with a writing line, so you can add your own in pen or fineliner.
Where I am with this
Printable affirmation stickers work because they put an affirmation where you already look, once a week, all year. I set mine up during my yearly planner ritual and let each week surprise me. Download the sheet, pour your favorite drink, and stick the first one in this week’s corner.
